I was born in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
I obtained a license in Theology from Saint John Baptist Major Seminary in Ouagadougou and was ordained to the priesthood in 2002 in Koupela, Burkina Faso. From 2004 to 2012, I was assigned Secretary to the Archbishop’s Office in Koupela.
I earned a LL.M. in 2014 and, in 2020, a Juris Science Doctorate Degree in Intercultural Human Rights from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. I am a published author of the book, “A West African Model to Address Human Trafficking,” released by Springer Nature in 2022, which provides the Catholic teaching guiding principles to address modern-day slavery.
I served as parochial vicar at Saint Mark the Evangelist Church in the Archdiocese of Miami, Florida, from 2015 to 2023. In June 2023, I was appointed Administrator of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Parish in Deerfield Beach, and I was currently the pastor of this parish.
I am fluent in my Moore, my mother tongue, French, English, and Spanish. I speak Italian and read German and Latin.
