Rev. Father Richard Samour

I was ordained in El Salvador on May 19, 2012 by Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller.

I worked for almost 20 years for the Government of El Salvador also as a teacher in Catholic and Public institutions in El Salvador.

I have three majors: Computer, Master in Business Administration, Master in Divinity.

I have a certification in Spiritual Direction and Mental Health.

I am currently the pastor of St. Gregory Church and School for the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Texas.

I am also the Chaplain of the Courage and EnCourage Apostolates, the San Antonio Chapter. Courage is the Catholic response for men and women who experience same-sex attraction who are committed to live chaste lives. Through EnCourage, I accompany parents of children who have expressed feelings of same sex attraction.
